Four Ways To Speed Up Your Background Checks
After completing an interview process and finding the candidate of your dreams, completion of a background check is often the final requirement on your hiring checklist. A fast background check helps your company acquire top talent and improve productivity through filling open positions more quickly. With this in mind, it’s not surprising that many hiring managers view turnaround time as the most important factor when conducting a background screening.
Work Opportunity Tax Credit Renewed Through 2020
As a leading provider of Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) administration services, Cost Management Services (CMS) has been diligently watching the renewal status of the Work Opportunity Tax Credit all year long. The legislation includes renewing and extending to December 31, 2020:
- Indian Employment Credit (IEC) from 2017
- Federal Empowerment Zones (FEZ) from 2017
- Work Opportunity Tax Credit, (Renewed through 12/31/2020)
CMS’s Brian Kelly said of the renewal: “We are extremely pleased with the news that the Work Opportunity Tax Credit has been renewed and extended through the end of 2020. We have iRecruit customers from all across the United States anticipating tax credits, and due to its extension they will be pleased to know that there is no hiatus for the program.”
What is Requisition Approval Workflow in iRecruit?
iRecruit’s Advanced Requisition Approval allows your company to initiate a request for a new job posting either by using a secure web link, or by logging into an iRecruit account to create a new request.
Can I Have an Internal Only iConnect Form?
The company requested an internal only iConnect form so that their hiring managers could add interview notes. They wanted their hiring managers to start following a consistent approach to hiring. They all were posting similar jobs (retail) in different locations, so it made sense to consolidate into one document that they all could use to evaluate candidates.
How to Remove Salary History Questions From the Employment Application
Legislation has been popping up everywhere restricting use of certain questions on the employment application. The Ban The Box question for criminal history, and more recently, banning salary history in the work experience section which first popped up in Massachusetts in 2016.
