2. You can text any applicant that has given you permission. You can start a text conversation from iRecruit on:

- The dashboard widget that shows applicants who have given permission.
- The texting report that shows applicants who have given permission.
3. You can type a message any time, or you can use one of your saved templates (for frequently used messages). (See Eight Text Message Templates to Save for Texting Applicants).
4. Replies will come to your cell phone in real-time. We’ll use a private local number when we send a text message, so your actual phone number is not exposed to the applicant.
5. A copy of your texting conversation will be saved in iRecruit, on the applicant’s profile page.
6. We’ll archive the conversation if there is no activity after 30 days.
