Adding texting to your iRecruit account will allow you to communicate with candidates more efficiently. Get faster replies than you would with email or voicemail. Candidates can typically reply within a few minutes over text versus email.
With texting, we make sure we have permission to text since the applicant has to opt-in to receive texts from you. This also confirms we have the correct phone number to text with. The benefit of having that opt-in, and phone number confirmation ensures delivery, unlike email which can be subject to errors such as typos, or your emails landing in the recipient’s spam folder.
You can also use texting to nurture candidates if you have a particularly long hiring process, or if there is a lot of boxes to check. Send texts to update the candidate of their status, or the job’s status. Make sure they are still interested.
