Should you add an internal career page on iRecruit?

Whether you have a need to make a job available to employees or union members before becoming available to external applicants, it’s easy to do in iRecruit.

Internal and Externally posted jobs can run concurrently or seprately depending on your needs, and it’s managed simply by using a calendar to select when the job is available.

iRecruit makes it easy to post jobs internally – make them available to internal candidates.

Additionally, when you use both internal and external job postings in iRecruit, you have two career pages. One for internal candidates/employees, and one for all your external candidates. Alert employees to apply for your open positions by using iRecruit’s internal jobs link (URL) on your intranet, private network, or even your employee newsletter.

You can even add the link to your external posting career page with a simple “Current Employees Click Here” link.

When you post an internal job, you have the option of using a different employment application than your external applicants. That will give you a chance to ask typical questions like:

• Are you a current employee?
• Does your manager know you are applying?
• Which department/location are you currently in?
• How long have you been in your current role?
• Why are you interested in this new role?

Additionally, you can ask specific knockout screening questions to your internal applicants.

Can you use iRecruit for ONLY internal applicants?

Yes, you can. Your iRecruit URLs are private to you. If you are not publishing jobs out to job boards the link remains private to share however you would like.
